Pledge your support

If elected, I commit to championing Surrey’s Local Transport Plan and to working with residents, officers and community groups to create a cleaner, safer and more sustainable transport future for Surrey. I will actively support the 5 Strategic Priorities of Healthy Travel Surrey:

  • 1. Safer, Healthier Streets for Surrey

  • 2. Stronger Local Communities

  • 3. Reliable, Affordable and Desirable Public Transport

  • 4. Cleaner Air & Climate Resilient Travel

  • 5. Smarter, Better Managed Roads

5 Core Priorities

Our strategic priorities fully support, and are designed to complement, the direction set out in Surrey County Council’s Local Transport Plan (LTP4). LTP4 provides a strong long‑term framework; our focus is on helping create the conditions for delivery by bringing evidence, alignment and community support to the table. The priorities below reflect that shared ambition and are intended to make practical progress easier for everyone involved.

Supporters

Healthy Travel Surrey is proud to recognise the councillors and MPs who have chosen to support the five priorities we believe are essential to a thriving future for the county.Their support comes at a pivotal moment for Surrey, as the county prepares for a new devolved governance structure with East Surrey and West Surrey taking on greater responsibility for shaping local places. By signing up to these shared priorities, these elected representatives are helping create the conditions for clearer decision‑making, stronger collaboration and better outcomes for residents. This section highlights those who have already committed to working constructively toward a healthier, more prosperous Surrey, and signals our commitment to supporting them as they help guide the county through this period of change.
